Sino Group of Hotels Unveils New, Enhanced Websites

[Hong Kong - 2 December 2013] Sino Group of Hotels has launched a new website that is as welcoming and individual as its properties. Easily accessible and refreshingly uncomplicated, the website is designed to appeal to both business and leisure travellers.  The corporate website provides an overview of the Sino Group of Hotels while drawing together the company's four Hong Kong properties under one brand domain.

The websites for the four individual hotels – The Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers, Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel, City Garden Hotel and Island Pacific Hotel – are loaded with need-to-know information and user-friendly features.

One such feature is the 'Treasures to Discover' section in each property website. Since each hotel is surrounded by unique features and located in distinct Hong Kong districts, the trusted 'Treasures to Discover' section lists off-the-radar restaurants and little-known local gems. While informing guests of Hong Kong's hidden local hotspots, 'Treasures' also reflects each hotel's familiarity with its neighbourhood and connection to its community.

The websites are designed to engage and entertain with clearer fonts, all-new images and intuitive displays. Optimized for use on modern touch screens and traditional keyboards, it's expected visitors will find the details they need in less than three clicks.

Efficiently versatile, the websites adapt and adjust according to the screen size of the device they're being read from. Whether it's an on-the-go traveller accessing the hotel website on their mobile phone or tablet, or an executive viewing the information on a desktop computer, the images, text and layout are reformatted so the user experience remains the same.

The revamp included a rewrite of the website copy and updated images for each property. To communicate the brand's authentic, approachable style, the direction for the images and language was to be understated rather than over-stylized. The objective was to communicate the promise and vision of the brand as well as the uniqueness of each property.

Available in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Japanese, each property homepage will feature updated news on Hong Kong happenings as well as TripAdvisor reviews.
